Dr. Guojie Qi

Founder, CEO

Dr. Guojie Qi, a PhD in Engineering from Tsinghua University, is a national high-level expert and co-founder of multiple startups. With 15 years of experience in the CCUS industry, he has spearheaded over 20 advanced projects across the U.S., EU, Japan, China, Canada, and Australia. He has been a visiting scholar at CSIRO's Energy Centre and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Kentucky, contributing to U.S. DOE-funded carbon capture initiatives. His recent work includes advanced CCS process design for PetroChina, refinery carbon capture under the EU Horizon 2020 program, and TEA/LCA studies on China’s CCUS industry.

Dr. Qi has published over 30 academic papers, holds two patents, and is certified as a Canadian ESG Expert, Financial Modeling Analyst, Project Manager, Innovation Manager, and International Technology Transfer Manager. He has helped hundreds of overseas SMEs enter the global market and co-founded startups focused on carbon neutrality technologies. His projects have earned notable awards, including HiCool, Yale’s Tsai City Milestone and Sobotka Awards, and Tsinghua Innovation honors.
